LEED-certified GPS solution

Outdoor lifestyle retailer REI is well known for its commitment to environmental stewardship. When they chose MTI’s Freedom Universal system for powered and secure merchandising of their GPS products, they challenged us to create a fixture that not only enhanced their brand environment but would be environmentally friendly as well.

MTI designed the fixture from natural finish Plyboo and clear, cold-rolled steel to provide an honest, modern aesthetic while meeting LEED Silver standards. The compact form merchandises up to 24 products in a 2 ft x 2 ft space.
