Meijer wanted to leverage their OEM co-op funds to take their digital imaging products out of glass display cases and make them available for self-service demonstration.

MTI developed a solution mounted to the top of a standard gondola fixture. Freedom Universal provided power and security, while Intuition digital merchandising emphasized each product’s high-margin accessories and services (cases, memory, batteries, printing services). The integrated solution was designed to increase the size of the customer’s shopping basket. Co-op alone paid for the entire display in the first six months after deployment, allowing the incremental margin from the 20% increase in sales to directly increase the bottom line.
